The aviator armchairs are vintage seats from the 1950s, our store offers reproductions inspired by the most beautiful models.
Coming from the United States, they are the creation of designers ahead of their time, using the recycling of military airplanes.
After the Second World War, aviation techniques evolved with jet engines. The propeller planes are scrapped, the architects and designers then had the idea of using the parts of the aluminum fuselage and the pilot seats to make designer furniture.
The aviator armchairs were then made of leather and wood covered with aluminum panels. The models on sale in our furniture store are made using the style mix of the time. The plates of our aviator armchairs also have a wooden structure covered by riveted aluminum plates.
The seats and armrests are upholstered in PVC which imitates the animal's skin to perfection. The seats are lined with foam and are supported by springs to make your vintage brown armchair comfortable.
