Goddess of Justice, Law and Equity, Themis assists Zeus in Olympus. It is often represented in ancient art holding a set of scales with which it weighs the arguments of the opposing parties. In Greek mythology, Themis, daughter of Uranus (Heaven) and Gaia (Earth) 1 is one of Titanides. It gives Zeus, who is the second wife after Metis, Fates, Hours and Astraea which sometimes supplemented by the three Hesperides, three Nymphs of the river Eridanus and homonoia, the goddess of Concorde.
